Job Announcement: Sales Executive, THE VEER (Womenovation Foundation’s retail brand)

The Womenovation Foundation is excited to announce an opportunity to join our retail team at “The Veer”, a store dedicated to empowering women artisans, entrepreneurs, and creators. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Sales Executive who is eager to contribute to our mission of supporting women-led initiatives while driving customer engagement and sales success.

Location: Downtown, Cairo.
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

As a Sales Executive, you will be the face of our brand to achieve the following:

  • Delivering outstanding customer experiences, promoting women-led products, and supporting sales growth. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Understanding customer needs and recommending relevant products
  • Promoting and explaining the mission behind Womenovation and THE VEER
  • Handling sales transactions, billing, and inventory updates
  • Maintaining visual merchandising and store cleanliness
  • Providing feedback on customer preferences and market trends
  • Participating in promotional events, product launches, and campaigns

Required Knowledge & Skills:

Technical & Product Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of retail sales processes
  • Knowledge of POS systems and basic inventory management
  • Familiarity with women-led products, crafts, and social enterprise (preferred)

Sales & Customer Service Skills:

  • Strong ability to engage and connect with customers
  • Persuasive communication and upselling skills
  • Ability to explain product value and mission-driven selling
  • Goal-oriented with a positive attitude

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication (Arabic & English preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • High sense of responsibility, dedication, and professionalism
  • Good presentation, grooming, and confidence in customer-facing roles
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
